Un simple merci*** A simple Thank You

 

Here are very quick little cards I amde at 5am on the last day of school for some of my daughter's teachers and school staff.  There are just 3X3 very siple little cards.  I amde them to match the little past it holders I amde nthe night before (BTW, Tahnks to my husband who came down to my studio to help me-- I wanted to be done by 9pm to be able to watch the Jon & Kate plus 8 special .. :(  )

 

Once all was done, I put htem in little cello bag and this is what it looked like.  Just a little something to let them know that I appreciate all that they do at school!  The letters on the post its are thei initials!

 

Teacher's gift class

Here is the class I held for Teacher's gifts. We made a little pen holder, a post it holder with pen, a bookmark with hodge podge, a card folder which held four cards for the etacher to be able to send, all of which were made with the teacher's initial, and a thank you card. Oh I am going to miss that pacific, blue, it is such a beautiful color!!

I have to thank Vicki Zoras for the folder pattern and idea!

Fête des pères** Father's day

Voici l'atelier de fête des pères que j'ai tenu au début du mois. Chaque participante recevias un SImply Scrapin Tailor Made et nous avons créé les projets suivants: Une page de scrapbooking, deux carte et une carte enveloppe cadeau.

Here is the workshop I held for Father's Day. Each aprticipant recieved a Tailor Made Simply Scrappin and we created the following projects: 2 cards, a scrapbooking page and a gift card envellop folder!

Atelier de cartes de remerciement * Thank You Card workshop

 

I have a group of teachers who wanted to make many thank you cards before the end of the school year so here is the class I did for them.  Each participant received all cut and prepared material to made 32 cards and a set of stamps.  They made 6 of each of the 4 big cards and 8 of the smaller card.

Candy skewers centerpiece

I know it has been an eternity since my last post, spring is always crazy, wrapping up hockey season, end of school year, spring break... etc... My lack of posting does not mean I haven't done any projects, just that I barely have time to take pictures of them and then actully post them.  So I have decided, I will at least throw the pictures on it and if time allows, I will come back and comment, if not, at least I will be somewhat caught up on showing you what I have done!!

This is a centerpiece I did for a party we had for the kids! 

Kids' Valentine"s Cards

Here are the cards I made for my 3 kids yesterday morning. All done before 8am. The first one is for my 6 year old daughter. I chose this SS because she had chosen it to make her cards for all her friends as it was her favorite.

This second card is for my 4 year old daughter as I always call her monkey!

This last one is for my 9 year old son, I thought a little pirate action was good for him!

Jeanie's Valentine tea tins

My Friend Jeanie came t spend part of the day here yesterday so that we could get some projects done. Here is what she made, she covered little tea tins that we had purchased last year. Lucky teachers who will be getting these!

Sizzix Yummy Box 2

Here is a little box I made with the great new Sizzix Big Shot Box #2 die. WOW! This box is done in less than 3 minutes. The only thing that took more time was cutting out the image of the Yummy for your tummy. Gotta love it! I then took little swiss chocolates and covered them with DSP in Pink Pirouette and Kiwi Kiss!

Love You Much Frame

Here is the frame we did at the Valentine's Day workshop. It was taken from the one I found on the SU website that a demonstrator in the US did with the Love You Much bundle.

Sincères Sympathies

Le mari de ma grand-mère est décèdé cette semaine et nous allons aux funérailles aujourd'hui. Voici la carte que j'ai faite pour ma grand-mère. J'ai repris la carte Vis Pleinement de la convention de cette été et j'ai changé le souhait et le poinçon. Petite carte rapide, faite en moins de 5 minutes.

J'aime beaucoup le jeu Inspiré de la Nature car il est très versatile et peut être utilisé pour toutes sorte d'occasions en carte et il fait même de très belles pages de scrapbooking.

Baby Gift

This si a little set I amde for one of my figure skating coaches. A friend of his had a little baby girl and her said he would give her gift cards and I offered to make a cute little packaging for it. Here is what I did.

I think the bag is adorable and I really cannot take credit for the idea, it was shown to us at convention this summer by Linda Hanson (she makes such beautiful things - I tell you, they have such creative talents at the SU head office!)

I also made him a onesie card and a little box to hold the gift cards!

Valentine's projects...

Here is a top note bag. There are several of these posted a bit everywhere. They are very easy to make witht he top note die from the Sizzix. It makes a really cute little treat bag, it can even fit a little gift card.

The group of ladies who attend my monthly workshop almost all have young children and because of that, they always like to have ideas for little projects they can make for their children or for all the kids in their children's classes. Here is what I am offering them for Valentine's Day. It is a little treat basket.

Valentine's day is fast approaching. And in order to help you get ready, I am offering you this great workshop. THsi adorable stationnary box is filled with everything you need: 4 regular size cards, for you best friends or your special someone (with matching envelopes), 4 little love notes and 9 tags for gifts to the kids or their teachers...

I am offering this workshop on Tuesday February 10th at 7:15pm. The cost will be 35$ for the class only (including materials) or, if you purchase the Love You Much bundle (50,28$ for the 3 hearts punch, candy lane DSP adn the Love You Much Stamp Set) I will offer you the class for only 10$. When ordering the bundle, please specify if you want it in French or in English.

Registration deadline for this class is January 20th 2009.

Gardez vos mémoires de Noël ** Christmas mini-album

Noël est maintenant derrière nous et que nous reste-t-il? Des beaux souvenirs et sûrement de belles photos! Quelle meilleure façon de les mettre en valeur que de faire un bel mini-album de Noël. Voici un album confectionner à partir de la trousse simply scrappin' I wish. L'album peut mettre en valeur 10 photos

J'offrirai cet atelier mardi le 3 février à 19h15. Le coût est de 30$ incluant la moitié de la trousse simply scrappin'. Si vous désirez une trousse complète le coût sera de 40$.

La date limite d'inscription est le 9 janvier 2009.

Christmas is now behind us and we are left with wonderful memories and hopefully great pictures. What better way to display those pictures than in a Christmas mini-album. Here is an album madef rom the I Wish simply scrappin'. The album can display up to 10 pictures.

I will offer this workshop on Tuesday February 3rd at 7:15pm. The cost will be 30$ including half of a simply scrappin' kit. If you wish to receive a full simply scrappin' kit the cost will be 40$.
